It had been 5 years since the defeat of Queen Psycho. Andros and Ashley had gone to live on KO-35, with their son. Zhane and Karone lived together on the Earth, and Travis and Joanna we're out there somewhere, but not together. The Astro-Morphers, and Battlizers were on display in the Smithsonian, in Washington, under heavy Guard. Evil was gone, for now. However in the shadows near the Pleasure Planet, a mist was arrising.....
During the Late-Night Hours on Luna Prime, Matt sneaks into the museum, and steals the Astro-Morphers. He loses one when he bumps into a girl named Wynn, who will give it back to him if he buys her a drink. Then Karone, and Joanna met, to discuss the robbery, but we're attacked by Elatria's Forces, and Matt was knocked out......Delta Trek Part 1
Elatria, the queen of the Pleasure Planet attacks Luna Prime in attempt to secure the morphers for herself. From out of nowhere though, the attack is replled by Travis, who has gone on to become the Lord of the Zorian Kingdom. His ship was severly damaged, and crippled, and crashed upon the planet. Karone, Zhane, Travis, Joanna, and new found friend Aimee move together in an effort to find the morphers, and come upon Matt, and Wynn. They get the morphers back, and learn of the location of the Deltaship through them. The two powers of the battlizers, and the morphers are combined to form the Delta Rangers, using the Deltaship's power core. The Rangers set off to counter Elatria's threat.
As the Deltaship nears Elatria's territory, they encounter a large patrol, and are unable to break through the established defenses. To Rangers fall back, and are forced to land upon a planet, and there they encounter several of Elatria's minions. In the meantime though, Zhane and Travis work together to delvelop the Delta Fighters, which are small fighter craft able to be deployed from the Delta Megaship. However as the Patrol closes upon the Planet, the Rangers learn that their ship has been sabotaged, and they find themselves trapped.
Having successfully repelled the attack, the Rangers attempt to repair the ship, while rememanents of the patrol harass the Rangers as they repair their ship. Finally the Delta Megaship's core is repaired, and the Rangers leap back to space.
While on a Scouting mission, Matt, and Wynn work together, and develop a closer relationship. However their craft is attacked, and forced to flee, they escape with an escape pod, only to drift aimlessly through space. Little known to Wynn though, it is reveiled that Matt sabotaged the Megaship, and was hired by Elatria to steal the Morphers for her cause. While in the pod, he impliments his next plan to brainwash Wynn into becoming his love slave. Wynn falls victim, and by the time, the other Rangers locate them, Wynn is under his control, and none the wiser.
All the while though Joanna, has changed from the person she was when she fought the Psychos. Perhaps it was all those years after the war that changed her, and she has shed her eccentricity, and has gone on to become the leader of the new group of Rangers. Zhane, is of course little help. Matt however sees the leadership qualities in Joanna, and plots his next move, by attempting to seduce her. Wynn however catches them, and her jealously rages, which prompts her to attack Joanna.
The other Rangers determine from Wynn's behavior that she must have been the one to sabotage the ship, and decide to confine her to the brig. In the meantime though Matt uses this time to re-establish contact with Elatria, and learns of her plans to attack the Delta Megaship. As the attack beings, Matt flys out alone in his fighter to meat the threat head on, against Joanna's orders. Only to late do the Rangers realize what is happening, as Matt comes around, and fights back against the Megaship. The Megaships weapons are destroyed, as well as the engines, and the ship is left crippled to drift aimlessly, while Matt returns to Elatria, to continue with their plan.
Having a vested share in the activites of Queen Psycho, Elatria has assembled some of the Psycho's magical artifacts that she used to attempt to destroy the Rangers during the Psycho War. Using these items, and with Matt by her side, she opens a rift, which threatens to encompass the entire universe into her own pocket dimension. The Rangers, must leave the Megaship behind, as they scramble in their Delta Fighters to counter this threat. They travel to Elatria's planet, where they must take upon their greatest fight of all time.
The Rangers battle fiercely against Elatria's forces. Wynn manges to free herself from the brig, and through some acts of mental power is able to restore her mind, as well as the Delta Megaship. She takes the ship to Elatria's planet. As the Rangers are slowly cornered by Elatria's forces, the Deltaship swoops in, and manages to clear a path, before transforming into the Delta Megazord. There is lays waste to the air forces in the region, and the Rangers, and Wynn make their way to Elatria's palace. There, Travis, Zhane, Aimee, and Karone confront Elatria head on, and after the ensuing battle, Elatria is killed by Travis by the power sword he received from the Zorians, and the rift is successfully closed. Joanna, and Wynn however, search for Matt, and a deadly game of cat and mouse begins.
Matt has long since been ready for the Rangers to attack, having more confidence in the Rangers than Elatria did, and set traps to counter the Rangers. Joanna is the first to fall victim to them, and only with the help of Wynn, and by trusting her does she manage to escape. After successfully evading the rest of the traps through Wynn's power, the two women move to confront Matt head on. In the ensuing battle, Wynn loses her arm, but together with the help of Joanna, they kill Matt ending the current threat to the universe. The Zorians than move in, and secure the rest of the planet with the aid of the Kervoans, and the Earthers. The Rangers than return to KO-35 to pay an old visit to two old friends, who are more than happy to see them, while Wynn must face the consequences of her Mental rape. She'll ultimatley spend time around the Kerovans, where she will heal, and become a better person.
