Joanna was born on Earth. She led a sheltered life, until when she was 12, her parents were killed in Air Crash. With no other Family to take care of her, she was put in a foster home. She ran away, and for several years lived on the streets. While on the streets she learned to fight, but being all alone all the time, left her mentally unstable.
When QueenPsycho came across her, she felt sorry, and offered her a place to live. She altered Joanna's DNA, to enable to morph into other people. When she nearly killed Joanna in the rage of battle, Joanna retreated, and hid. She fought Psychotrons when she could, and during one battle saved Andros's life. In Return he made her the Pink Ranger.......
